Two Provider BMV

One provider uses both hands to open the airway with a jaw thrust and maintain a tight mask-to-face seal

• The second provider squeezes the bag and may apply cricoid pressure if appropriate
• Both providers should verify adequate chest expansion
• Misting may be seen on the facemask on exhalation
• End tidal CO2 monitoring can be attached to the circuit to verify effective ventilation
