- Antecubital fossae or back of the hand
- Saphenous vein on noninjured extremity
- External jugular vein if cervical spine is clear
Second choice:
- Intraosseous line in non-injured tibia
Third choice:
- Percutaneous femoral vein cannulation (non-injured limb)
- Saphenous vein cutdown
- Internal jugular or subclavian vein cannulation
