Bag Mask Ventilation

  • Use only the minimal force and tidal volume needed to make the chest rise
  • Avoid excessive volume or pressure that can lead to gastric insufflation and increased aspiration risk
  • Cricoid pressure may reduce gastric insufflation and so reduce the risk of regurgitation and aspiration
