	- Spine should be immobilized until "clear" by both clinical and radiographic examinations
- High-risk groups for cervical spinal injury are:
	
		- High energy impact - MVC, ski, snowboard injuries
- Patients with head, neck, torso injuries
- Diving injuries
- Falls from a distance greater than patient's height
- Rapid acceleration or deceleration injuries
